In 2014, the founders of DoomDoomTech first created RecYourself: a platform where a few thousand artists uploaded their own music tracks to one of RecYourself’s genres. Each genre was hosted by a well-known DJ or producer: the Ambassador. Every week, the Ambassadors compiled a hit list of their 10 favorite tracks from that month and share this with their fans. This curated list was called the ‘Ambassador’s List’. With this, unknown artists could create a fanbase through an ambassador.
